Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. The majority of her early years listening to classic music Boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic music along with old classical pieces. Ana is a lover of opera and tangos, as well as any dramatic performance. At the age 16, she started singing and studying the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began to provide her with more intense vocal instruction. In Guadalajara she studied at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca in the School of Sacred Music. While a student, and when she was a professional young at the time in Mexico City and Guadalajara she sang with several chamber groups and choirs. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. As an instructor and performer in the local area the passion for arts and music keeps her engaged in a wide range of projects. Ana was also a part of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is presently a professor in The Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Choir for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
