Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress, best recognized for her roles in the films Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. The actress began her career in the early 1980s. Her character as Anil Kapoor in Tezaab has made her hugely popular. The next film she appeared in was Dil where she starred alongside Aamir. In Mumbai, she was raised within a middle class family parents. As a child, she began to learn about age, she began to take dance lessons. When she was still in high school, she tried her hand at acting, but most of her early movies did not succeed. She found fame and became one of India's leading movie actresses. She decided to take a break from her career due to her marriage, before going back to the entertainment industry. More recently she played an important role in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the struggles of women across India. Dixit was awarded fifteen Filmfare Awards nominations, of which eight she won. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honor in India. Social work by her is well-known.
